Homeschool.com's Spring Teleconference Starts Soon!
Your Host: Rebecca Kochenderfer, Senior Editor of Homeschool.com
If you or anyone you know has ever wanted to successfully write and sell a book, I strongly recommend you listen to our April 14th interview featuring Matthew Bennett and his new project called Write It, Print It, Sell It! How To Get The Book Inside You Out. Matthew has sold over five million books and he takes authors and potential authors through all of the steps to create the book of their dreams. This is absolutely great information presented in an entertaining, direct style from a guy who really knows his stuff. Think you might have a book in you? Take Matthew's FREE Bestseller Self Evaluation Quiz at: http://writeprintsell.com/learn.htm. If you ever even thought about writing a book, you'll want to be on this call!
Do you ever feel like you have ATM tattooed across your forehead? You are not alone. Sharon Lechter has created a new initiative called YOUTHpreneur which provides parents with the tools they need to ignite the entrepreneurial spirit in their children. Sharon is the co-author of the international best-selling book Rich Dad Poor Dad and 15 books in the Rich Dad series. On April 28th, Sharon and I will be talking about her six week program (a perfect summer activity) that allows you to give your child the gift of a lifetime....financial education! Sharon has created a special offer for homeschool.com. Please visit www.youthpreneur.com/hms for more information.
What do you wish most for your child? A happy life, of course! Parents all over the world would agree that it's the most important thing we can give our children. Researchers have found that we each have a "happiness set-point," that determines our level of happiness—no matter what else is going on in our lives. Fifty percent of our happiness set-point is genetic and the other half is learned, determined primarily by our habitual thoughts, feelings, and actions. This means as parents we can give a tremendous gift to our children: though we can't control what part of our DNA gets passed on, we can teach our children habits that will have a huge influence on their happiness level—for the rest of their lives. Join me on April 21st as I interview Marci Schimoff. To learn more about Marci and her New York Times bestseller Happy for No Reason: 7 Steps to Being Happy from the Inside Out go to: www.happyfornoreason.com/mybook.
