One quarter of the world’s population speaks Chinese and with China playing an increasingly significant role in the commerce and industry of the world, Chinese is the fastest-growing language studied in the United States! The use of webcams and various teaching aids allows students to see and be seen by the instructor. This is important since mouth shape and positioning have much to do with the proper pronunciation of the language.
Classes are recorded – if a student misses a class or if they would like to review what they learned, they can access their class in the archives

2. Curriculum based materials
- Little Linguists Academy's curriculum is designed primarily for children between the ages of 6 and 12. However, younger children may participate with adult assistance.
A Language Box for students is sent each month ahead of time, enabling students to perform all of the exercises during class.
Little Linguists’ innovative methodology is focused initially on ensuring that each child becomes familiar and comfortable with the unique sounds of the Chinese language and then building each child’s confidence in order to set a solid foundation for learning Chinese in the future.
Focus is more on the fun and enjoyment of being immersed in Chinese, therefore, children sing songs, do craft projects, and use flash cards, all of which enable the child to have an enjoyable experience and learn without thinking about it.
Basic Chinese characters are introduced to begin the process of teaching children how to read and write. Classes are structured around specific themes that change every two weeks.
3. Knowledgeable Instructors
- Little Linguists Academy’s classes are taught by native Chinese speakers who have many years of experience teaching children in private classes as well as at public and private schools.
Children learn in a fun, interactive and enjoyable environment by discovering Chinese through song, arts and crafts, games and body movement.
4. Affordable Classes
- Online Chinese language classes cost $90.00 per month. For this fee, each student:
- receives the monthly Language Box
- may attend one live online class per week
Because all classes are recorded, enrolled students may view the current week's class or any past class an unlimited number of times.
