1. "We don't want their minds corrupted by the worldly influence and secular teachings of our public school system."
2. "Our public school system in our area is horrible."
3. "We can't afford private school and even if we could we're not so sure that the influence our kids would be exposed to is any better than the public school system."
   
   But the most common answer I get is...
    
4. "We want the flexibility to be able to give our kids a custom top quality education that will prepare them for the real world."

And then when parents give me that answer I always follow up with this next question.... I ask...

Ok, so after you do all of that then what?

"Well, then we're going to send them to a good college to get a degree..."

Ok, then what happens after that?

"Well, then they will be able to get a really good job...."

But what happens if there are no good, high paying jobs? After all, the economy is bad and the unemployment rate isn't getting any better.

When I ask parents this, sometimes they get stumped. But in the case of home schoolers, they get it.
