It can be difficult to teach advanced courses such
as Pre-Calculus, Spanish III and Physics. Some homeschool parents may not feel
comfortable teaching these courses and answering questions about the subject
matter. This is where Texas Tech University Independent School District (TTUISD)
can help!
"The courses at TTUISD are well-written and
easy to follow," said TTUISD Senior Editor Shani Robertson. "Since TTUISD
is accredited by the Texas Education Agency (TEA), all of our courses are
aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS)."
Through
TTUISD,
parents can feel confident that their child is receiving a quality education. In
addition to the affordable, accredited curriculum TTUISD offers, students have
up to six months to complete their coursework and can begin at anytime.

"TTUISD creates courses for any level of
knowledge and [these classes] are designed for parents to be a facilitator not
an instructor," Instructional Designer Chyrel Mayfield said, "Parents do
not have to learn the course because if a question arises they can contact their
instructor."
All instructors at
TTUISD are available to answer questions
from both students and parents! Because of this, your child can enroll in and
excel in difficult courses such as Latin—even if you're not an expert. Credit by
Exams (CBEs) are also available.
TTUISD offers elementary and middle school
courses as well! To see what
TTUISD has to
