Homeschooling through High School? You
can do it and
eLearningK12
can help! Their personalized, guided, Internet-based educational programs
offer many options. For the High School student, these options include the
level of assistance given to the student, curriculum choices, and individual
graduation tracks.
The three level of services
eLearningK12
offers to homeschool students, meet every student's needs.
Level 1 Services:

Level 1 Services.
Level 2 Services include the assistance of an
eLearningK12
education consultant and include the following:
- Initial, mid-year and end-of-year
conference
- Development of personalized education
plan for your child
- Online monitoring of student progress
- Access to email and telephone
interaction with a teacher
- Monthly reports and consultation to the
parent to individualize courses for the student
- Teacher assigns daily work, manages
gradebook and paces student work
- Teacher grades subjective assignments
such as writing
- Technical support
- Online progress report
- Correlation of curriculum with state
graduation requirements
- Transcript development
- Monitoring and assistance with
offline electives
- A private high school diploma upon
completion of requirements

Level 2 Services.
Level 3 Services:
Optional On Site Instruction is available for families living near one
of the eLearningK12 learning centers. Learning centers are conveniently
located in five cities in Louisiana (Thibodaux, Houma, Donaldsonville, Baton
Rouge, and the Lafayette area) as well as Houston, Texas. Services are
the same as in Level 2 above and include onsite instruction ranging from one
day a week to five days a week as determined by the parents. Level 3 also
results in a private high school diploma being awarded upon completion of
graduation requirements.

Regarding
eLearningK12's
High School curriculum options--
eLearningK12's High School curriculum for grades 9-12 includes personalized,
web-based lessons in the following areas: English 1, English 2,
English 3, English 4, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Physics,
Pre-Calculus, Personal Finance, Trigonometry, Biology, Chemistry,
Earth/Space Science, Health, Integrated Physics and Chemistry, Physical
Science, Civics, Economics, US Government, US History 1, US History 2, World
Geography, and World History. High school level online typing lessons
are also available.
Additional optional programs include foreign language courses in five
languages (Chinese, French, German, Latin, and Spanish), and additional high
school electives, including Computer Applications, Introduction to Art,
Strategies for Academic Success, Health, Psychology, Sociology, Consumer
Skills, Career Skills, Healthy Living, and Foundations of Personal Wellness.
Importantly,
eLearningK12,
offers three options toward graduation:
College Preparatory Track
Students who plan to attend college (and some technical schools) can
complete the
college preparatory
graduation requirements.
Career Preparatory Track
Students who plan to begin their careers immediately after graduation, as
well as those planning to attend most technical schools, complete the
career preparatory graduation
requirements.
Certificate of Achievement Track
eLearningK12
recognizes that some students' gifts lie outside academics. For students
with an IEP, they offer a Certificate of Achievement to honor their
accomplishments. These students should complete the
certificate of achievement
graduation requirements. To
qualify for this track, parents must provide a current IEP or a written
recommendation from the student's counselor or health care provider.
