The Keystone School is an online high school and middle school that prepares students for success – in college and careers. Two hallmarks of the Keystone School are flexibility and an exceptional learning experience.

Through our online high school and middle school courses, Keystone students can study anytime, anywhere. With access to over 120 engaging online courses, Keystone students can enroll full-time to earn an accredited online high school diploma or part-time to supplement traditional school or home school curriculum. And Keystone students can enroll at any time.  Mid semester... mid year... no problem!

Keystone students enjoy the flexibility that distance education offers, but  also enjoy support and  a school experience that are hands-on. From the minute your child enrolls in the Keystone program, you and your child can access teachers, learning coaches, counselors, administrative staff, and other students. We're always just an email or phone call away. Your child can connect with other students through message boards, extracurricular activities, and even a staff-moderated Keystone Facebook page.

Teacher Support

All Keystone teachers are licensed and certified, have an average of eight years of experience as educators, and are specifically trained in how to teach in an online environment. We encourage students to reach out to their teachers as often as they need. Students can count on hearing back from teachers within one business day and will receive feedback on assignments within three business days for online courses and seven business days for correspondence courses.

Learning Coach

Our learning coaches are here to help craft a plan of success for each student enrolled in four or more courses. Your child's learning coach will answer questions, assist with goal setting, and help with course selections. The learning coach also hosts a monthly student orientation and parent meeting.

Guidance Counseling

As part of Keystone's mission to empower students to achieve their academic and personal goals, your child's Keystone guidance counselor will play a key role. Our guidance counselor are licensed and trained to help students with post-high school planning, including college application processes and career discovery. Our counselors offer monthly online sessions on a host of relevant topics.

Parent Involvement

Keystone is committed to helping parents become actively involved in their child's education by providing tools that regularly update their child's achievements. As an example, parents will have access to a Keystone Parent Observer Account that provides ongoing real-time accounting of their child's progress.
