Texas Tech University Independent School District (TTUISD) is an
accredited elementary, middle and high school that operates entirely
at a distance. TTUISD's curriculum meets the same rigorous standards
as traditional brick and mortar schools.
HOW WE CAN HELP
Whether you are looking to
supplement your school or homeschool curriculum or choose to become
a full-time student and pursue a diploma, TTUISD's faculty and staff
will make you feel right at home while providing you with a
Texas-sized education in the renowned Red Raider tradition.
Our two options allow you to learn
anytime, anywhere. You can be a part of TTUISD-it doesn't matter
where you live or when you choose to start.
Option #1.
Supplement your school or homeschool curriculum.
Make up failed credits
(credit recovery). Earn credit during the summer. Take a course not
offered at your school. Test out of a subject. Through TTUISD,
you can supplement your school or homeschool curriculum and earn
elementary, middle or high school credit by taking one of more than
65 online or print-based courses.
Need to test out of a subject?
TTUISD's credit by exams (CBE's) are designed to evaluate your
mastery of a given subject or discipline relative to Texas
standards. TTUISD offers over 75 CBE's. |
Option #2. Become a
Texas Tech Red Raider in Elementary, Middle or High School.
You don't have to be in
college to be a Texas Tech Red Raider. You can become a full-time
student in TTUISD's elementary, middle or high school. You can begin
anytime; there are no enrollment deadlines. Experience a world-class
education and become part of a student body comprising of 2,400+
students from 26 states and 12 countries. As a full-time TTUISD
elementary, middle or high school student, you will work closely
with Texas-certified counselors and administrators who will ensure
that you successfully complete the requirements to earn a Texas high
school diploma.
TTUISD seniors
who successfully complete their coursework will have the opportunity
to participate in a graduation ceremony held on the Texas Tech
campus in Lubbock, Texas. So come be a part of Texas Tech!

An Accredited School
Texas Tech University Independent School District is accredited by
the Texas Education Agency (TEA). All courses and Credit by Exams (CBEs)
are aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).
