Sevenstar Academy
Christian Online Classes for Grades 6-12

Online Christian Curriculum (Grades 6-12th) With Excellent AP and Dual Credit Courses

Dear Readers: This newsletter is part of our back-to-school curriculum series. We know this is curriculum buying season so we hope you find this useful. - Rebecca Kochenderfer (Senior Editor, Homeschool.com).

Sevenstar’s online Christian curriculum also provides homeschool families the flexibility they need:

  • Students can take one course or multiple courses

  • Courses are not tied to a traditional school calendar or time of day

  • Parents can teach the course or utilize a Sevenstar teacher
  • Special offer from Sevenstar Academy:
Register online for their monthly e-newsletter and receive a chance to win a FREE online course* (a $275 value) of your choice!

Sevenstar offers two ways to help homeschool students get college credit while in high school:

    1. Advanced Placement (AP) courses – These courses are usually taken by high school juniors and seniors but the course content is college level.

    • If AP students score well on AP tests (typically offered by local schools every May), they can receive exemption from having to take the course in college.

    • Also, college and university admissions look favorably on applicants who have successfully completed AP courses.

    • Note: Sevenstar's AP courses have been reviewed and approved by the College Board.

    2. Dual Credit courses – Sevenstar has partnered with Indiana Wesleyan University and Davis College to provide more than 25 dual credit online Christian courses where high school students get high school and college credit at the same time.

  • These courses are provided by the colleges/universities and are taught by college instructors.

  • Students will receive college transcripts for each of these 3 credit courses.
  • 3. Sevenstar Curriculum – Sevenstar offers over 50 online courses in addition to the two options mentioned above. The courses can provide what your family needs.

In both cases (AP and Dual Credit), the course content is taught from a Christian worldview and biblically integrated. Plus families can benefit by saving thousands of dollars because college credits through Sevenstar are much cheaper than paying for them as a freshman in college!

To learn more about any of these options or the college credit courses described above please visit Sevenstar Academy's website at www.sevenstaracademy.org or contact them via phone at (707) 276.3472 / (877) 229.6312 (toll free) or via email at info@sevenstaracademy.org

(*Price does not include a Sevenstar teacher)
