Ugh. My motivation has gone out the window on teaching reading. I got the Sing, spell, read, and write program for my 4 year old. It's an awesome program and what I used to teach my now teens how to read. My 4 yr old loves it but I am having a hard time getting motivated to get on a schedule with her! I can't believe it either because she is so ready to learn!!  I guess after the older kids I kinda like hanging out at the zoo instead of doing formal "School" with this one.

How do you get motivated to continue teaching your young ones?

How much time does the program require??  Try setting aside 15 or so minutes early in the day to work on the program with your daughter before going out to do things or relaxing.  She may start anticipating it and asking you to do it every day so then you won't have to be the one to initiate it daily.  Or perhaps you can do it before bed at night so it becomes an evening routine.
