How do you use technology in homeschool?

   I'm a homeschooling mama who is rather geeky, and we use technology an
awful lot in our homeschool.   I am getting ready to write an article
about how homeschoolers use technology in their day to day activities,
and I'd love to hear from any of you about your thoughts on the
subject...

I'm particulary interested in your opinions about:

whether you think homeschoolers are ahead or behind the technological curve in relation to public schools
how much and in what ways you use technology in your homeschool
any creative uses you have for technology in your teaching and learning
how your kids feel about technology and whether they are self-motivated to learn more about it
