Bible & Science be counted seperately?

If I were teach simple Bible stories, then expand on concepts within that story seperately such as the animals or the weather or what salt is etc,  would that be considered Science. Im unsure of what constitutes "Science" at a young age..

As a homeschooler, you are free to define things anyway that suits your fantsy.

Not only perfectly okay but probably best at young ages. Science by itself at young ages can be so dumbed down as to be not worth it. Going off on "scientific" areas from other subjects makes a lot more sense at that age.

There are several methodologies that don't teach science as a separate subject until much later.

they can pick up a lot if you go off of their questions and interests exactly like it sounds you are doing!!
