Hello-

I see it has been a while since anyone posted, but I hope to find someone who can help me. I am a buddhist and have my oldest son starting kindergarten in the fall. I have a strong desire to homeschool and have brought up the topic to my husband for a couple of years, but now that it is here, he has strong opposition regarding isolation/lack of socialisation and taking away the excitement of a public school experience. I need more advice from current homeschooling parents as to their opinion/experience and reasons for homeschooling. I appreciate the advice with a buddhist mindframe which is why I am asking here. I thank you very much from the bottom of my heart!

Depending on your city, you might be able to find some
homeschool groups locally that provide the socialization
and excitement of extra-curricular activities.

I live in Houston and there are tons of groups for that.
