so, I write poetry sometimes. Here's one:
INFINITY
BY "THE MONA LISA"
I will tell you everything
We will talk in dreams
I will call you day in and day out
Though no one will ever pick up your phone
I will write you letters which I will never send
But you will read them
Your fingers will lie still forever
An eternity of lying across your chest
Folded still and cold
Your face will be always smiling
Content
You will be young and strong and beautiful
Never growing old
A bit of you
Under the ground, pristine for infinity
But you yourself
The bit of you that is you
Will be with me forever
Always
In my heart

WHAT DO PEOPLE THINK?

Very interesting! I especially like this part:

An eternity of lying across your chest
Folded still and cold

It makes me think of the marble effigies in ancient
churches.

Poetry: Infinity

I sailed my ship through time gone by
and never found the start

I sailed my ship through days to come
and never reached the end

My trip was short through both extremes
it took me just a second

My ship defied the laws of physics
its speed exceeded light

I reached out through expanse of space
and sought its never ending

But as I reached, it moved away
and eluded my seeking grasp

My ship, my mind, was fleet and agile
in its flight through the infinite all

It looked and it saw, it sought and it found
no limits, no confines, no bounds

Wow, you're both really good, I like writing poetry myself and i know how hard it can sometimes be. the only time i can ever get anything anywhere near good is at times when I'm either really sad or really happy!
