On Location in Hawaii - Day 4

Day 1 | Day 2 | Day 3 | Day 4 | Day 5

Homeschool.com's Team Meets Dr. Ballard!
When he was a child, his favorite book was 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. He dreamed about becoming a modern day Captain Nemo. In 1986, Dr. Robert Ballard fulfilled a long awaited dream by discovering the RMS Titanic. As he viewed the sunken ocean liner, his first thought was – why just me?

For the last 12 years, Dr. Ballard and the JASON team of scientists have brought millions of children, from around the world, with them on expeditions that only a modern-day, technology–savvy Captain Nemo could accomplish!

Homeschool.com's media team met up with Dr. Robert Ballard during a live JASON X11 broadcast on The Sulfur Banks on the big island of Hawaii.

Read our exclusive interview with Dr. Robert Ballard!
