Long time defender of Homeschooling in Hospice

October 2nd, 2009 by dailynews

Chris Klicka is a familiar name in homeschool circles. He was the first full-time attorney for Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) and has assisted many homeschoolers who has faced adversity in their choice of education. He currently holds the positions of Senior Counsel of HSLDA and Director of State and International Relations.

While attending HSLDA's National Leaders conference last week, Mr. Klicka became suddenly ill and was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Colorado. He has been battling multiple sclerosis for several years. At this time, he is residing in hospice care.

His family left Virginia and has joined him in Colorado to be by his side. They have requested prayers, from those that are willing to pray. They are maintaining a blog to keep everyone up to date at www.CaringBridge.org.

If you would like to post messages to Mr. Klicka or his family, you may do so at the HSLDA's facebook page (HSLDA's Facebook page), under the discussion section.

For further information, please visit www.hslda.org or their facebook page.
