make learning fun for homeschool students or anyone. Here you will find
an online dictionary, encyclopedia, and thesaurus plus an ‘Article of
the Day’, section, which has an introductory article on an interesting
topic, with a link to more in-depth reading on the subject. There are
also sections for ‘This Day in History’, ‘In the News’, ‘Today’s
Birthday’, ‘Word of the Day’, and ‘Quote of the Day’. Games include
‘Hangman’, ‘Spelling Bee’ and ‘Word Match-up’.
For orders of 15 books or more, we give a special bulk shipping rate,
which is actual shipping (USPS or UPS) plus 10% of the total price of
the books. This will save you money, depending on the weight of the
books. These orders will have to be made over the phone so we can
process credit cards manually.
What does FYI Homeschool Books offer that the large companies don’t?
At FYI Homeschool Books we treat each order as though
we were shipping it to family. Each book is closely inspected and
thoroughly cleaned before being carefully packaged for safe shipping. If
a customer calls or emails with a question or problem, he or she will be
put directly in contact with the person who processed and packaged the
order instead of punching in numbers to a recording or being shuffled
around customer service departments. We are in the office Monday –
Friday between 4:30 AM and 2:30 PM central time. All email
communication will be answered usually within 24 hours seven days a
week.
