Barchowsky Fluent Handwriting

Children start with the Barchowsky method, playing with many fun activities such as tracing letters in chocolate pudding or using pre-writing patterns within a picture like this exemplar.

Gross motor activities, and patterns that relate to letterforms form the base for the development of legible, rapid handwriting.
 
Barchowsky Fluent Handwriting has no boring, consumable workbooks. It provides exemplars like the one above, and more than 300 others to print out. You can edit many of them. Handwriting practice can relate to whatever a student is learning. A font allows the editing, so go ahead; create exemplars that take handwriting practice into all written  work. Here is a sample of what you might create for a short lesson:    

For older students who need handwriting help, short, frequent sessions yield great results. He or she can type up exemplars that use text relating to any special interest, whether a sport, music, art, fashion, or...you name it!
