Picture Sight Words Flashcards by

What:

For the first time -- Picture Sight Word cards that help your child read AND spell sight words.  These cards have special picture cues designed and researched by a dyslexia tutor to help children help recognize, read and recall the spelling of sight words.

Here! This red rose is FOR you!

Who:

These picture sight word cards are ideal for emerging readers (3-5years) as these children love to look at pictures.  The cards are particularly beneficial for right-brained learners (dyslexia, ADD, Autism, etc.), and for any child who struggles with reading and spelling. They also work well for ESL learners to improve vocabulary and spoken expression.

Why:

Sight words are not decodable, the must be memorized. And memorization is often difficult for right brained learners.  These picture cues allow the child to use right-brained strength to recall images instead of having to struggle with a sequence of plain letters.

The cards are easy to use. They can be used by parents as a stand alone program to help their children with sight words, and they can easily be incorporated into the child's existing tutoring program.

You will find children wanting to use the cards, and there are many games you can play to help the child remember the words.
