When you look at God's creation, it is obvious He likes diversity! Taking this into consideration, who are we to say that all children should learn the same? God wants each individual to use the strengths and talents He has given him to achieve his special calling.

Current "buzz words" in the educational community are "Differentiated Learning." Pick up any education periodical, and most likely you will find an article on this topic. What is differentiated learning? Here is a definition from a National Education Association publication: "Differentiated learning uses a variety of instructional strategies that address diverse student learning needs. It places students at the center of learning, and student needs drive instructional planning. It engages students in activities that respond to their particular learning needs and strengths."

Does that sound familiar? Yes, the "NEW" thing in education right now is individualization.

Each child is one of a kind. Sometimes it may seem "easier" for all children to fit into one mold, but what a boring world that would be! We should encourage our child to be the individual God created him to be.

Whether the student is a high achiever, a moderate-paced learner, or a slow learner, the A.C.E. educational program proceeds at the exact level determined by the child's ability. This is what is meant by individualization. Individualization makes it possible for each student to master the subject matter before moving on. Such mastery is the foundation upon which all future learning is built.

The A.C.E. individualized learning style is specialized, distinctive, and child-centered education. God created each child individually to fulfill a special plan chosen exclusively for his life. Through the use of the A.C.E. curriculum and program, we can make sure that each one has the opportunity to thrive in that plan.
