1 Million Open STEM Jobs...Is Your Child Prepared?

Did you know that STEM careers are growing at twice the national average?

That means one million STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) positions are projected to go unfilled by the year 2020 (according to code.org). Since only one in ten high school students have access to computer science courses - and far fewer at the K-8 level - their ability to prepare for this booming job market is limited during the school year.

But what about summer?

Programs offering summer tech education are at the forefront of a learning revolution, connecting students with STEM subjects-outside the traditional classroom setting. This includes iD Tech Camps, iD Programming Academy, iD Game Design & Development Academy, and iD Film Academy. These tech camps teach kids and teens to innovate and create their own apps, C++ and Java programs, video games, websites, and more—rather than simply consuming these technologies.

Such programs focus on problem-solving, critical thinking, innovation, creativity, and teamwork. Coincidentally, these are also many of the skills needed to succeed in school, college, future careers in STEM—and life.

Take interests further this summer and gain a competitive edge at iD Tech.

iD Tech is not your typical summer program.  Students get a chance to collaborate and build relationships with others who share the same interests. Courses are hands-on, high-energy, and presented in a fun camp environment. The labs buzz with enthusiasm and laughter, classes are small (only 8 students per instructor), and students work one-on-one at their own pace with hip, tech-savvy instructors.

Entering its 16th season, iD Tech is the leader in summer tech education. Choose from over 40 tech courses held at more than 80 prestigious university locations nationwide. This includes Stanford, Yale, Princeton, NYU, Columbia, Northwestern, Emory, UCLA, and more.

The iD Tech Experience:

  • iD Tech Camps: Weeklong summer tech programs for ages 7-17 held at over 80 prestigious universities in 28 states. Day and Overnight options available at most locations.
  • iD Tech Academies: Two-week, pre-college, intensive teen academies for ages 13-18. iD Programming Academy, iD Game Design & Development Academy, and iD Film Academy. Select locations throughout the U.S.
  • Hands-on, high energy courses led by tech-savvy staff.
  • Only 8 students per instructor—guaranteed.
  • Experiential, project-based learning—proven the most effective way to learn.
  • New friends who share similar interests, fun, and increased self-confidence.

Join the ranks of iD alumni who are securing internships at companies like Google, Facebook, and Adobe®, starting their careers at video game studios like Ubisoft®, Electronic Arts™, and Cryptic Studios, producing award-winning films, and more.

Summer is coming and courses are selling out!
