Home School Spring Break at Keystone February 22–March 2
Plan the most awesome field trip ever for your kids – a winter vacation that’s filled with family ski days, fun activities, special events and tons of family bonding opportunities designed specifically for you and your little ones!  Join Keystone Resort for fun and educational activities designed to create lasting memories during your ski vacation. Daily activities and special programming includes:

Ski and Snowboard Lessons – Time with an instructor will take your abilities to the next level. Instructors’ help you find the best way to improve your skills, achieve your goals and ensure you make the most of your time on the mountain.  Group, family and private lessons are available for all ability levels for ages 3 and up.

Keystone Kidtopia – A fun-filled, kid-friendly experience that the whole family can enjoy!  Explore the ultimate Snow Fort at the top of Dercum Mountain, dance to live music in the plaza, have fun with arts and crafts, go tubing for 80’s Night, enjoy free cookies daily at Dercum Square Ice and join in on continuing education activities on and off the slopes.  There’s always something fun going on for kids and their families.

Monday, February 24 – Keystone Snowmaking presents: How is Snow Made?
An interactive lesson exploring the technology, weather patterns, and science behind the Keystone snowmaking process. Come meet the team that makes winter happen.

Tuesday and Thursday, February 25 & 27 – Avalanche Science and Awareness with Keystone Ski Patrol
An in-depth and interactive lesson on the causes, impacts, and science of an avalanche, how this affects daily Ski Patrol responsibilities, as well as some basic avalanche safety topics.  Also, there will be a special appearance from one of Keystone’s very own Avalanche Dogs.

Wednesday, February 26 – Nature Exploration with Keystone Science School
Keystone Resort is partnering with the Keystone Science School for a special educational event exploring the natural beauty of the Summit County Region. Join friends from the Keystone Science School and take a Nature Hike through Keystone Resort. Learn how to identify various wildlife, vegetation, and ecological phenomenon of the Rocky Mountains.

Friday, February 28, Ski with a Ranger
A guided skiing tour of Keystone highlighting the resources of the National Forest and the resort’s environmental commitments.

Friday, February 28, Guest Speaker Keith Bellows, author of 100 Places That Can Change Your Child’s Life
