I came across this press release today and thought I would pass on the information.

The MTV series, “True Life” is looking for homeschoolers. They are specifically looking for 13-18 year olds who are willing to tell about their homeschool experience.

I haven’t watched MTV since the mid 90s so I’m not familiar with this show. I looked it up to see what it was all about. It turns out that “True Life” is an award-winning documentary series that tells real-life stories of young people. The show has been around for more than 10 years.

The producers are looking for homeschooled teens that have faced challenges because of being homeschooled. For example, being an athlete that has had to work twice as hard to be noticed due to being homeschooled.

The producers claim their goal is to show what homeschooling is really like in order to break down common misconceptions.

If you are interested in finding out more you can check out this flyer. Or simply contact the producers at [email protected]. Include your name, age, location and phone number.
