Kids and horses go together! Wouldn’t it be great if your child could have an intensive, hands-on ranch experience in the Rocky Mountain West that is both practical and fun? An experience where your child could learn horsemanship skills, participate in chores – and meet and ride with people from many parts of the world in a secure ranch setting?
HorseWorks Wyoming is offering a unique opportunity to Homeschool.com readers by reserving six places and offering a hard to beat credit if you mention Homeschool.com.
The sessions are four parts adventure, two parts relaxation and fun and two parts culture, wrapped up in a unique Wyoming package. Beginners learn the basics of horsemanship through instruction and trail rides. More advanced riders take their horsemanship to new heights by riding a variety of horses of different breeds.
All riders enjoy bonding with a wonderful horse while working livestock. And the scenery can’t be beat! Imagine wide-open sagebrush valleys, streams and beautiful mountains! On weekends, local cultural offerings include Yellowstone National Park, rodeos, hot springs, and first class museums at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody.
Applicants should be mature, independent, self-motivated, and able to participate in long hours of activities. Instruction is included so riding experience is not necessary.
Your wrangler’s memories will be preserved as they journal their experiences each day to share with family and friends.
Go along for a parent-child experience of a lifetime. Fulfill your dreams too–because learning is a lifelong experience. And as you know, fun learning is forever learning!
