If your child struggles with sight words, Picture Sight Words from may be of help.  These flashcards specifically help children with Dyslexia, Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADD/ADHD, etc.

Reading and spelling sight words requires entirely different processing in the brain; these cards are designed to help with both. They help the child read with the aid of a picture cue that relates to the meaning of the word.  The picture cue is also tied into the letter that is hard to remember, thus helping with the spelling of the word.

Simply put, sight words must be memorized because they cannot be “sounded out” (they are not phonetic). There is usually one tricky letter in each sight word that throws the child off.  The picture cues used in these cards are actually tied to the SHAPE of that letter, so by remembering a picture, the child remembers the tricky letter and thus remembers the spelling.

The picture sight word cards are printed on high quality card stock with protective print coating and are visually attractive.  Kids love them, as do parents, teachers and tutors.  For additional information on iSeeiSpelliLearn, click here.

These are fun cards–and fun learning is forever learning.
