NewMillenniumGirlBooks.com – are hands-on, fun and creative! And guess what? They’re for BOYS too!
Jan May, the owner of New Millennium Girl Books is a homeschool veteran, a creative writing teacher with homeschool co-ops in her area, and she teaches online classes as well.
Per Jan, “The Lord gave me a vision several years ago to write a fun and engaging creative writing curriculum for girls that encourages faith and builds Christian character: Creative Writing Made Easy – Introducing Isabel was born. This is a wonderfully interactive curriculum that includes paper dolls and two Christian mid-grade novels. As the years passed, the boys in my classes barraged me with requests for books just for them. This year we launched the next three books in our Creative Writing Made Easy Series: Spies of the Revolutionary War, Ocean Adventures in Writing, and Zany Zoo Adventures in Writing. This curriculum is filled with fun, hands-on activities that draw in every type of learner. From story beach ball to creating your own secret code and battle drum, there is something for every student. We have designed them to engage every type of learner, especially the wiggle in boys. ”
Ms. May sent us Ocean Adventures and Revolutionary War – and she’s right – they are great fun – and educational too!
