How You can Raise a Brainy Bunch
Kip and Mona Lisa Harding were high school sweethearts in San Jose, California, when Kip asked Mona Lisa to the prom and then proposed a few weeks later. Mona Lisa agreed to be his wife and they dreamed of starting a family together. After four kids, they decided to turn to homeschooling, and their success paved the way for their oldest 7 children to start college by the age of 12 and go on to great careers. Their daughter Serennah was the youngest female doctor in the U.S. in 2013 at the age of 22. Their daughter Rosannah became the youngest member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) at the age of 23 in 2013. Their other kids have gone on to major in mechanical engineering, computer science, music, history, and law, and they continue to homeschool their youngest children (they have 10 children in all). Their most oft-asked question is “How did you do it?”
Their practical, positive book, entitled The Brainy Bunch Bookreveals the many parenting strategies that Mona Lisa and Kip use – how they make family decisions, socialize their kids, provide experiences that go beyond the home, and, of course, how they educate all their children. Including tips, daily regimens, practice lessons, a reading list, and more, The Brainy Bunch offers their distinctive yet simple method on how other parents can also achieve success.
In their interview, Mona Lisa and Kip talk about extraordinary homeschooling! They tell you how you too, can raise a Brainy Bunch. If you’d like additional information beyond the interview, they also consult via Skype and over the phone.
