Oak Meadow offers an affordable independent school experience for children in kindergarten to grade 12. Our progressive, experiential homeschooling curriculum can be used independently or by enrolling in our accredited distance learning school for teacher support.
- K-4 is child-centered, experiential, and nature-based.
- 5-8 encourages increased student autonomy and intellectual engagement.
- High School offers rigorous academic courses and expert college counseling.
The Oak Meadow curriculum is built on strong academic standards that can be adapted to meet the needs and interests of the developing individual. We understand that students learn in different ways—some by doing, others by listening, still others by seeing or reading—so we have designed the lesson plans to allow for flexibility. The curriculum is print-based to reinforce solid reading comprehension and study skills, and technology is thoughtfully integrated through the grade levels.
