A Summer Business
July 14th, 2010 by dailynews
With the economy the way it is, it is difficult for our high school and college students to find jobs. Now, more than ever, they need to be creative, look inward, assess their strengths, and when possible, turn their talents into economic opportunity.
Yard work and babysitting have always been possible money making activities. But perhaps your teen can start an errand service, teach football to younger children, complete word processing projects for a local business, make/sell jewelry, dog-sit, help you in your employment endeavors, etc.
Starting a summer business as a teen can be a realistic opportunity, a great learning experience and it can generate income. And perhaps the summer business will turn into something more…
Remember–fun learning is forever learning!
