At the turn of the century and into the 20th-century mandatory school attendance became the norm. Jamie Gaddy


Jamie is the Homeschool.com Editor-in-Chief. Education has been an integral part of her life for over 25 years in the both as a classroom teacher and then a homeschool parent. Jamie has homeschooled her six children for over 16 years, and takes great joy in helping new homeschooling parents get started! Account Manager

Rachael is a homeschooling mom of four. Rachael was a gifted classroom teacher for many years before she began homeschooling. Rachael and her family live in the panhandle of Texas.

Naomi White

Content Writer

Naomi has taught preschool and elementary school in both Christian and public schools. She loves to read and write, is a pastor’s wife and stay-at-home mom, and is currently homeschooling her son. Originally a Georgia girl, Naomi currently lives in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina with her family.

Andrea Dillon

Social Media

Andrea is a previous public school teacher turned accidental homeschooler. She earned her B.S. in Elementary Education, then followed up with a Master’s in Early Education before deciding to give homeschooling a try with her first child. Many years later, she is still homeschooling her now-teen children and loving it. She enjoys making crafts, reading books, playing video games, and cuddling her cats.

Tami is a homeschool mom living in South Africa. Tami is an artist in her own right and has worked with Homeschool.com for nearly 10 years as a creative and email manager.
