Our Convention Schedule – 2019March 13, 2019
It’s homeschool convention time and we couldn’t be more excited about it! Last year, we gave you a heads up about where we were going and what we were doing. Your response was incredible, so this year, we wanted to do the same! Will this be your first year attending? Make sure you get the most out of your state’s convention with some quick homeschool convention tips! Check out where we’ll be for the 2019 homeschool convention season with Great Homeschool Conventions!
March 7-9 Ft. Worth Texas – Meet Jamie!
Fort Worth Convention Center
1201 Houston St.
Fort Worth, TX 76102
Everything’s bigger in Texas, and homeschooling conventions are no exception! This year, Great Homeschool Conventions will be going HUGE in Fort Worth and you’re invited! In Fort Worth, you can expect to meet excellent speakers and attend a variety of specialized workshops on everything from healthcare options to enrolling your children in competitions such as spelling bees! You’ll also meet parenting experts, homeschool advisors, and former classroom teachers who are now homeschooling parents.
We’d be remiss if we didn’t send one of our best! This year we’ll be sending our new spokesperson to showcase Homeschool.com. Join Jamie Gaddy in Ft. Worth as she discusses life as a working mom, homeschooling mom, and pastor’s wife (Yes, she really wears all of those hats!).
March 21-23 Greenville, SC – Meet Jamie!
Greenville Convention Center (Formerly TD Convention Center)
1 Exposition Dr.
Greenville, SC 29607
Greenville, SC is a gorgeous city known for all types of unexpected oddities – from the fact that the city averages five inches of snow each winter to being home to one of baseball’s biggest mysteries (Shoeless Joe Jackson). This prime location welcomes Great Homeschool Conventions this year!
We’ll be sending Jamie Gaddy to represent Homeschool.com and she’ll be in room 201 after the Exhibit Hall opens. Catch Jamie speaking on the topic of “High School Myth Busters” (brought to you by LetsHomeschoolHighSchool.com). Exposition Dr., Greenville, SC 29607

America’s 15th largest city is home to several nationally-known annual festivals and TONS of die-hard sports fans! It’s also a pit stop for Great Homeschool Conventions this year. Our seasoned homeschool rep, Jamie Gaddy, will be appearing in Ohio as well and she’s delivering content you don’t want to miss! Find Jamie on Friday, April 26th in Duke 260-262 from 8:30am-9:30am delivering “Let’s Get Real!- a real life Q&A with nothing off limits.” On Saturday, April 27th, she’ll be in Duke 236 from 11:30am-12:30pm discussing “High School Myth Busters.”
June 13-15 Ontario, CA – Meet Alison!
Ontario Convention Center
2000 E Convention Center Way
Ontario, CA 91764
“There’s an Ontario in America? I thought that was in Canada?” While there is an Ontario in Canada, there’s also a town in California named after its Canadian counterpart (which was so named after the Ontario Model Colony development in the 1800s). Located in southwestern San Bernardino County, it’s about 35 miles east of LA! There, you’ll have the pleasure of meeting Alison Belknap on behalf of Homeschool.com. Make sure to stop by our booth and enter the giveaway!
August 1-3 Rochester, NY – Meet Alison!
Joseph A. Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center
123 E. Main St.
Rochester, NY 14604
If you’re seeking warmer climates, Rochester, NY should definitely NOT make your list! This “snow globe” city averages about 89.3 inches of snow — each and every year. Brrrr! Thankfully, when Great Homeschool Conventions makes an appearance, it’s not until August – but that’s right around the time the temps start dropping so, pack an extra layer! Homeschool.com is sending Alison Belknap to represent us this year and we couldn’t be more excited!
August 8-10 Florida – Meet Jamie!
Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center
1000 Water St
Jacksonville, FL 32204
If you’re looking for that huge metropolitan city feel, Jacksonville, FL is sure to please! Known for being the largest city geographically in the state of FL, it can conceivably take an hour (or longer) to get from one end of Jacksonville to another by way of the interstate. It’s so large, in fact, that there are many “sides” or “parts of town.” This year, Great Homeschool Conventions will convene downtown (a fraction of the Northside) at the Prime Osborn III Convention Center. Our trooper, Jamie Gaddy, will make an appearance at one last homeschool convention, and you have the chance to meet her if you’re headed to Jacksonville! Make sure you stop by our booth and enter the giveaway!
