June 30, 2020My only experience with K12 was with my kindergartener approximately 4 yrs ago. I had reviewed K12 materials and they looked PERFECT–for me. However, in order to finish all the required work, my 5 yr old was spending at least 4 hrs on the computer. It turned her from a child eager to learn to one who didn’t want to “do school” anymore. I’m sure K12 is wonderful for older children; it is very structured and thorough. However, it was a little too much for my kindergartner. We returned it and did more learning through play, and now as a 3rd grader, she is excelling.
