Before we get started, I’d like to introduce my co-host today – Rebecca Devitt – from New South Wales Australia! Rebecca, we’re glad you could join us! I’ve recently just met Rebecca, but she is a homeschool mom with two children. Rebecca isn’t just interested in homeschooling her own children, she is a Christian and was homeschooled herself and wants to help families figure out how they can homeschool. As a second-generation homeschooler – -Rebecca does a great job of that on her website, How Do I Homeschool.com. This year our world has gained a lot of homeschoolers. So I’m sure some of our listeners today are new – but whether you’re new or experienced homeschoolers – using multiple intelligences to improve and enrich your child’s learning is always a topic of interest.

I’ve been homeschooling for 14 years and though I’ve studied and even written about multiple intelligences I haven’t taken the time to apply these concepts to my daily homeschool plan and how I teach my children.

I’m hoping today that our conversation with Rebecca can help us all take this a step further to make a difference in our day to day efforts of teaching and learning.
