BraveWriter: Advanced Composition

Description

BraveWriter’s swiftly paced 4-week Advanced Composition class works to prepare high school students for college-level academic writing. Students should already have a good grasp of writing an expository essay. This class will focus on a Definition Essay and a Textual Analysis essay. Students will learn to be disciplined critical thinkers, considering angles such as social context, authorial intent, text structure, and interpretation. Essays will conform to MLA formatting standards.
