BraveWriter: Book/Movie Duo

Description

BraveWriter’s Book & Movie Duo combines literary discussion and movie analysis to move your middle school student from less-formal free writing discussions to more structured literary analysis. Students learn to compare and contrast literary works with the cinematic adaptations. A different movie/book duo is offered for each 4 week class. The books and movies are read/viewed outside of class. Online discussions are asynchronous, but work is cooperative and reading peer-writing is a part of the class. Questions are encouraged!
