Christian History: Biographies of Faith is designed for grades 7-9 and is a full year’s credit for History. Students will go beyond just historical facts to see what has been revealed about these leaders’ hearts, fears, and visions for changing the world. The study is designed to encourage students to lead. Students will study the life of John Newton, George Washington, Andrew Jackson, John Knox & Martin Luther. A schedule is included, as well as worksheets, quizzes, tests & answer keys. Students will discover how these great men were transformed by their faith , moral values & pure courage. Activities include vocabulary study, short answers & long answers (shorter than essays), bonus activities & special projects including a 4-page research paper each semester on a president (first semester) & a reformer (second semester). Recommended 30-45 minutes, 5 days a week.
