Global Village School (GVS) is a private, non-profit, WASC-accredited distance-learning K-12 school. GVS utilizes a personalized, creative, and flexible one-on-one approach to learning; it is not a curriculum in a box or sitting at a screen for 6 hours! Instead, students build their course of studies collaboratively with their GVS and home teachers using various resources, which can include GVS curriculum guides. Families can apply for enrollment at any time to receive teacher support from experienced GVS instructors, and there are opportunities to meet with other families in live meetings for parents and students alike. GVS also offers curriculum guides for sale online to homeschooling families and other educational institutions who wish to work independently instead of enrolling.
