“Organic Learning – How to Create Independent Learners”
No matter how much time you spend in the curriculum you’ve purchased, organic learning will happen. Organic learning is learning that happens naturally on its own and with no direct purpose or plans from you. It’s such a beautiful thing to see our children learn things we didn’t directly try to teach to them!
One of the best things about organic learning is that it creates independent learners…learners who are not dependent upon us to learn something. When children learn organically, they do so because they were already doing one thing and ended up learning another. Not only do they learn about this new thing; they also learn that they don’t need us holding their hands for them to learn something.
So really, organic learning is GREAT learning!
