How to Use Kiwi Crate in Your Homeschool
April 27, 2020In our homeschool, we’ve tried a lot of different things to enrich our learning experiences. Over the years, one of our all-time favorites is the KiwiCo subscription box. If you’re needing something to enrich science, STEM, or art this is a perfect choice.
What is a subscription box you might ask?
Good question! And one we definitely need to answer before we go any further. A subscription box is a box that comes in the mail, monthly or bi-monthly just like a magazine subscription. Within the subscription box, you’ll find everything you need to complete a project. Most subscription boxes are age/grade appropriate and deal with a specific subject or theme.
KiwiCo Subscription Boxes for Homeschooling
KiwiCo’s mission is to make science and STEAM learning fun and using subscription boxes for kids is a great way to bring both worlds together. We’ve found that many of the KiwiCo subscription boxes for science or STEM really support topics and themes that we are studying in our homeschooling lessons. What I typically try to do is align our studies with the box that we receive so that we can have a deeper and richer understanding of the science/STEM concept that the box project supports.
